As a matter of fact I'm making a ton of money solely playing the 3x financial ETFs - the inverse FAZ when the market is down (I'm up 47% so far this week) and then switch to the long FAS on those market rebounds.

Hohandy, welcome back.... I am doing the same. You might want to add XLF to the mix. I will leave a private message for you on the other forum. I hope that you are here to stay buddy.

apsll has made so much money he got two threads locked yesterday.

trading the gaps are tricky, otherwise, this is a great environment to trade. both longer term and daytrading. its volatile and good signals are occurring quite frequently.

we're into the bear for over a year now. no complaints here.

Funnymoney every day you make less and less sense. If you can some how interpret this into English then we might be able to understand you. Remember we discussed a long time ago that you have a terrible sense for humor.

i think the moderators are too sensitive.   it's like the coors light commercial.    let's vent.    no harm no foul.    doesn't political correctness have to stop somewhere?    if you are too sensitive to someone's comments, turn off the damn computer and don't post anymore.

i like when someone posts about a trading method and others either agree or disagree.  hey, i'll try anything once

as far as   political debates,   we're all adults, at least i think so,   no matter what anyone says or posts no one is going to change ones political affiliation at this point in their life.  no different than religion.   if you can't fight your own battles by now, trading has got to be way too tough.

These are the only two ETF's I am trading (and need to trade)  You got me beat on ROR!   I've been having success by watching the FAZ and FAS until about 12 noon EST and how the price action is reacting around the pivot points and support levels.  I start trading around noon and can get within 10 cents of the reversal at the support and go in big with tight stops. Care to share your technique??  Keep up the good work

John, I agree that the mods are getting to sensitive, I can understand why they locked "Market Analysis III". agm32 was getting a little to boring. But to lock the "Tax proposal" thread I am still trying to figure that one out. I mean there is nothing wrong with bebate and what thread has not strayed off target from time to time?

None here either ....

Although I don't do much day-to-day trading any more ...

The huge rally in the USD ... combined with the falling emerging markets ...

Is setting that trade up for another good sniping ...

the mcclellan summation gave another good signal. the gap down made things a little tricky though.

thanks - I've started a blog on the Worden blogs platform at blocks.com in which I extensively discuss what I'm doing.  I have a bunch of buds that I'm trying to teach and provide cues for and the blog works out pretty well.  I get annoyed when so many discussions on here turn political.
I can be found at   inthelandoftheblind dot blocks dot com slash

Guess who the culprit is that that tries to swing the discussions to politics? And then if anyone responds he calls them names. RC was right about him.

I think that was shut down due to Godwin's Law.

so few folks post about trading over here that threads just start moving in directions other than pure trading methods or ideas.

it is easy to get off track as soon as someone mentions news out of DC.

maybe we should all try to keep it a little less PERSONAL.

i would much more like to learn, try, see, different trading ideas,  of course any idea would be new to me.

about the only time we see a new idea or anything is when a KNIGHT writes in.      i guess you really can't blame people who may have worked months on a system,  then just  give it away.

i'm certainly going to check out hohandys blog.    i'll fit right in "land of the blind"

John You have been around this forum; you know that we used to talk about stocks and indicators and trading theories. It was when "someone "would interject poisen into every decent thread, starting trouble saying that these trading ideas are stupid and can never work (even thought they were working just fine). One gets jaded after a while and looses interest in the constant fighting just to post a theory or a formula.

Now that the "Someone" is no longer posting than maybe we should try and talk stocks again. There is no doubt in my mind however that once we get the forum back on track that our friend will return with a whole new chapter in terror.

Agm you were not even around back then. You are only a recent plaque on this forum whose only purpose was to promote the decline of civility. I know that I did not help matters by turning away from the harmony that once was the order of the day here. I was stupid to think that I could put a stop to his destruction just by taking him on. I only succeeded in discrediting myself.

If I knew that we would be left alone to re-build what once was then I would do so. But he has tainted this forum for what it was and now the newbie’s are left with the task. Just like Tobydad I, Kokoda and a few others were once new to this forum and formed our little group and discussed our Technical analysis with the help of Diceman, Havenocents and Memorableproducts. Those days are gone and most have not returned after the fall out. In the end he was the victor. He destroyed what was here. Time for the next group of budding Technicians...

I just signed up with Worden and was looking forward to discussing analysis of stocks and such with fellow subscribers. It does appear that there are some serious traders here. But it seems a good portion of the conversations are political. I get enough of that on the news.

Seems like a lot of the forums I have been visiting lately are thin on traders. I guess its back to Yahoo. Lord help me.

Not so, the harmony happens when posts are about stocks. It turns sour when you turn your post to liberal politics, not believing in God, and start insulting the long line of people that do not share your views.

Talk stocks and trading and there will be harmony again. Tobydad and Diceman have told you this time and time again but you will not listen to their wise words.
